Approached from the A59 York-Harrogate road via the junction at Green Hammerton it is 1½ miles along the B6265 in the direction of Boroughbridge.

Access from the A1(M) is at Junction 47, Harrogate – York interchange, direction York.

Look for the signboard on the lane end (like the logo at the top of this web page). Turn here and we are 150 metres on the left.
